COMMITTED AND ENERGETIC PERSON REQUIRED FOR VOLUNTARY ROLE
๐ต Are you a committed and energetic individual who either lives or works within the Cleveland Police Force Area?
๐ต Could you play a role in maintaining a regular check and balance on the performance of the directly elected Police and Crime Commissioner?
๐ต Would you be available to work on a voluntary basis with a commitment to attend and prepare for a minimum of four formal meetings a year?
๐ฎCleveland Police and Crime Panel are seeking a new non-Political Independent Panel Member to serve as co-opted independent member for the remainder of a four-year term until February 2029.
โ๏ธ The Panel is part of the governance and accountability arrangements for policing in the Cleveland force area, covering the boroughs of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton.
๐ Availability on late afternoons or early evenings is required as that is when formal meetings take place, while it is possible that panel members will attend additional sub-committees, task and finish groups and other training and development opportunities.
๐ All panel members will receive induction and other appropriate training and will be able to claim reasonable travelling and subsistence expenses.
